JC Members Meet Up Planning

Hello,

since quite a few of us from Ipoh will be going to KL next week, we are planning of meeting up with other members. :smile:

The meet up plan is also to attend the STARBUCKS Live & Inspire Series (http://www.joomcool.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8929) event.

Date: 23rd Sept 2009; Wednesday

The event will start at 9pm and end at approximately 10pm or later in Bangsar Village 2. We can have a plan to meet earlier, too before the event itself.

And now, let's discuss about details for example what time to meet up before the event, what to do, etc and also who is attending other than the few who has already confirmed.

Any updates or such will be updated in this post (#1 post), do refer back for more informations up to date.


Also, not only JC members is allowed to join us. You may bring any friends or guests if you want to. We always welcome all to join us. :nod:

Venue: Starbucks, Bangsar Village 2 (new wing)

Live & Inspire event starts at 8pm. So do have dinner before coming to avoid starving until the event ends.

Other activity would be decided after the Live & Inspire event, whether to get a drink together or such.

then also because the few of us which are currently benny, vivian and i will only go to KL on wed noon. ziggy is still in consideration whether to go or not. then, we make it at night so i guess none of us works at night, no?deetee not free to go? :sad:

Bangsar Village is located along the main road of jalan bangsar
You can see the building on your left side when you drive along bangsar turning in from the bangsar lrt station (maybank building).
It's not that hard to find..

both is connected with a bridge..
car park is available at old wing only..
the event is at the new wing
distance is very near since the mall is not that big

so no one will feel the pressure to pay loads for a meal. plus then we're gonna head to starbucks later.

so it's gonna be tuesday already, i guess it's time for the decision.
since i made a mistake for the live & inspire event time, i thought it starts at 9pm but for real it's at 8pm.
so i guess there wouldn't be a dinner meet up, we'll all just meet at the starbucks in bangsar village 2

so the result is let's meet at 7.30pm so that we can at least mingle around ourselves first before the event starts.
then when it ends then only we decide maybe we can all go get a drink or something.

just drive straight..and you will see a yellow building on your left side after several traffic lights, but you can't turn into the building entrance from main road.. you need to turn into the shoplots area then reach the bangsar village..

another tips for you: bangsar village is before mcdonalds, if you pass mcdonalds then you just turn into the mcdonalds area and turn back to bangsar village
